| "The Material Girls" Quilting Group A group of Presbyterian Women meet on Fridays in the Fellowship Hall of the church with all their quilting supplies for the day. Each one brings her own project she is working on, and sometimes they spend their time learning a new quilting technique. These quilts they make are a mosaic of colors and intricate patterns that are quite beautiful. This group has donated many of their quilts to very worthy causes such as Arkansas Children's Hospital, the Hurricane Relief Effort, and to individuals for special occasions. |

| The "Material Girls" responded in a big way to this American Patchwork & Quilting's "1 Million Pillowcase Challenge" by making attractive, colorful pillowcases to give to youth in the two houses our church sponsored at Christmas from the Vera Lloyd Presbyterian Home. In addition, the beautiful heart quilt below made by June Bailey was donated. |
